The Creative Streets Festival 2025 in Košice, Slovakia wrapped up after six inspiring days filled with color, beats, and urban energy. Across the week, six large-scale murals came to life, painted by ten Slovak and Czech artists who turned grey walls into vivid landmarks. The sound of spray cans filled the air as locals and visitors watched the artworks unfold, adding a new layer of character to the neighborhood.

In the evenings, the festival shifted from paint to performance: a live concert featuring Slovak rapper Pil C drew around 2,000 visitors, creating an electric atmosphere that carried through the streets. To connect it all, participants joined a street art tour, discovering the freshly painted murals and the stories behind them – right in the same area where the concert and most activities took place.

The feedback from the community was overwhelmingly positive, marking the festival as a true success and a celebration of creativity in public space. With color, sound, and collaboration at its core, Creative Streets Košice once again proved how art can bring people together and transform the urban landscape.

Artists: Rascals Crew, Panika 71, Matuch, Maior, Lepak, Yasomfilip and Prorok.
