As 2025 comes to a close, the DUK Festival once again brought art and energy to the streets of Čačak, Serbia — proudly supported by Montana Cans. Despite a challenging year for the cultural sector, the festival team and participating artists made their 10th anniversary edition one to remember. The season began in June with a striking mural by Peruvian duo Nemo and Mekilu, whose South American vibrance lit up Čačak and set the tone for the months ahead.

Marking a full decade of DUK, a special graffiti jam reunited artists from the very first edition in 2015, turning the event into a celebration of friendship, creativity, and shared history. “Painting together again after ten years felt like coming full circle,” one of the artists shared. The anniversary continued in Belgrade with a retrospective exhibition at Silos Gallery, showcasing DUK’s evolution and previewing the upcoming DUK 10th Anniversary Book — a visual chronicle of ten years of murals, artists, and community.

The fall season saw three new murals added to the city’s growing open-air gallery, now counting over 130 artworks. These included pieces by NeSpoon (Poland), Mikro Kosmos (Belgrade), and Jelena Vezmar (Belgrade), alongside contributions from emerging female graffiti artists Helenikus and Yo, representing the next wave of talent from Serbia’s urban art scene.

The year will conclude with a special exhibition on December 20th in Čačak, marking both the release of the DUK 10th Anniversary Book and a decade of artistic achievement. Montana Cans is proud to have supported DUK once again with the tools that make these creative visions possible. After ten years of color, collaboration, and cultural impact, DUK continues to prove that art can endure and inspire — no matter the circumstances.
