The historic West End in Atlanta is experiencing a renaissance. The team at Lee & White reached out to the Greetings Tour team and asked if a facelift was possible for the a new property in what was originally coined as „Warehouse Row“. And with a little help from Montana-Cans anything was possible. The first idea was a „Greetings From Atlanta“ piece but after some minor negotiation a „Greetings from West End“ design was agreed on. Calling on imagery that was relevant to all of Atlanta, the final work encompassed:

W — Fox Theatre, E — Homage To King Sculpture, S — 96′ Olympic Bridge Atlanta, T — Peaches, E — Georgia Aquarium, including silhouette of Lisa and Victor, N — Blocks of Culture Banner – Historic West End, D — Midtown Atlanta Skyline.

All with the beaming glow of high pigmented Montana GOLD colors.

Making of

With some surprizing freezing temperatures and some slight technical hitches, the mural took about one week to complete with a special highlight of a 3 color letter 3D which was the artists favorite touch. Check it out here:

“Originally coined as part of “Warehouse Row,” Lee + White sits sandwiched between Atlanta’s BeltLine’s Westside Trail and Rose Circle Park. With Adair Park across the street and the West End MARTA station a quarter mile from the property, this project embodies the revitalization of many Westside neighborhoods.”Victor Ving & Lisa Beggs
