International Teacher’s Day in Zaatari Syrian Refugee Camp. To celebrate World Teachers day 2015, Herakut and aptART joined forced with kids and their teachers from a War Child youth center in Zaatari Syrian refugee camp in Jordan. During workshops kids ages 5-14 discussed their favourite stories and books. They then discussed the places their imaginations and knowledge could transport them. Along the walls of caravans where children learn and play, everyone drew and wrote the titles stories and subjects that inspire them.  The titles were inside colourful books that transformed into butterflies, taking off to other worlds. The message, “Books Take Me To A Better Future” is written in large letter, reminding everyone who passes by the importance of education and knowledge.
