Hop Hip Don’t Stip – this is the motto of an annual gathering of writers from all corners of the European continent, all meeting in a former gravel storage area in East-Berlin, offering lots of space to paint. A jam for people who like to bend the rules of classic graffiti and come up with funky, silly, innovative styles. This year, the jam featured severeal generations of writers: Old veterans and young guns from six different countries. Professionals and beginners. Just to name a few: BoaOne from Berlin, the DUA Boys from Copenhagen, the Jukebox Cowboys and the Ghettoblasters from Hamburg, NCC Crew from Rome, and many more. Apart from the sunshine, music and a big barbecue, the emotional highlight of the event was the infamous tag battle, aiming to elect the most stylish and original handstyle.
