Italian graffiti artist La Franz knows how to shake cans well. Why, because she uses a lot of them for her prolific creations. On a recent mission we armed her with not the usual mix of Montana BLACK and Montana GOLD cans, but instead a focused on an array of the new Montana GOLD grey tones. As with preparing to paint, La Franz shook things up as each tone played just as important a role as if she were doing a full color graffiti burner. The final piece which didn’t actually look as though there was a restricted color pallet, explored a ghoolish mix of classic graffiti letter style with an illustrative element of graveyards and tomb stones. Graffiti Grey tone shake up

After priming up, La Franz made it look like light work as the relatively large scale piece came to life (or death) as it may seem. As the sun went down, so did the cans as the finished work dried and prepared itself for viewers and photo documentos to come. Don’t be scared, take a look here.
