What has Heidelberg-based graffiti artist Sweetuno been up to lately? Alongside a series of fresh walls, he’s just dropped a brand-new sketchbook project Funky Lines. The publication offers a curated glimpse into Sweetuno’s ongoing work, combining sketches and selected wall pieces from the past few years. Rooted deeply in Graffiti and Stylewriting, his approach moves confidently between tags, throw-ups, simplestyle and complex wildstyle – always driven by a clear sense of progression and identity.

Born in Switzerland in 1976 and raised near Basel, Sweetuno started painting in 1989, shaped by the vibrant graffiti scene of the 90s. Since 2002, he has been living and working in Heidelberg, continuing to refine his craft while staying true to his roots. His work balances experimentation with a strong foundation in classical graffiti writing. Funky Lines comes as a 56-page, hand-bound A4 zine, featuring digitally printed inner pages on two different paper stocks. The cover is available as a standard edition, alongside a strictly limited artist edition – each featuring an original sketch. With only a small number of copies available, this release captures the raw energy and dedication behind Sweetuno’s work. The magazine was created in collaboration with Chemistry Publishing and is available now via their webshop.

A regular edition of 220 copies is available, as well as a limited artist edition of 30 copies, each including an original sketch on the cover – split between online sales and selected events. A must-have for anyone into graffiti, stylewriting, and authentic sketchbook culture!
