On May 16–17, 2026, Sokak Stili Graffiti Fest brought graffiti culture into the heart of Gaziosmanpaşa, Istanbul, gathering writers from Turkey and abroad for two days of painting, music, and exchange. The idea behind Sokak Stili is deeply connected to the neighborhood itself. Graffiti in Istanbul grew between local streets, shops, walls, conversations, and everyday encounters — and the festival brought that culture into a public space without losing sight of its roots.

Generations on One Wall
Around 70 artists contributed to the festival, bringing together several generations of graffiti culture. Among them were established names such as Turbo, Amok156, RUSL, MCROY, and Da Poet, alongside local writers, international guests, and a new generation of young artists. Walls specially installed around Gaziosmanpaşa Square became the canvas for the weekend. Different styles, backgrounds, and generations developed side by side, turning the process of painting into just as important a part of the jam as the finished pieces.

One particularly special element was the involvement of young writers painting alongside experienced artists and, in some cases, their own fathers — passing graffiti knowledge and culture directly from one generation to the next. Sokak Stili 2026 was supported by Montana Cans together with our local partner Montana Cans Türkiye, providing the artists with the tools to bring their pieces to life.

Beyond the walls, DJ sets, dance, music, and street culture completed a weekend built around connections — between international and local writers, old school and new school, graffiti and the neighborhood around it. Spray paint, tea, neighborhood culture, and generations of writers coming together — Sokak Stili, Istanbul 2026
