Georgia comes alive with color

Since 2019, the Tbilisi Mural Festival has been bringing world class murals to the city of Tbilisi, the capital city of Georgia. With a star studded lineup of of national and international mural artists, according to festival founder Besik Maziashvili that the Tbilisi Mural Fest has brought thirty-three  murals to fruition for the people of Georgia.

Quality is the focus for Tbilisi Mural Fest

This year was no exception with again a lineup of quality artists such as MONKEYBIRD (France), FAITH47 (South Africa), JDL (Holland), APHE (Germany), NOAH (Germany), MAZZA (Brazil), 1010 (Germany), KADE 90 (Georgia), and DAVID SAMKHARADZE (Georgia).

A new way of seeing things for the people of Tbilisi has begun. More used to gray, damaged, or unappealing building facades than multi-level international murals painted in the vibrant colors of the Montana GOLD and BLACK range, there surroundings have become an inspiration for the next generation of artists. The current and former visiting artists (such Case Maclaim), have created thought provoking murals addressing artistic, social, environmental, and other relevant issues. Giving passers-by a building sized opportunity to stop looking at their telephones for a moment and gaze up at the massive creations before them. Our eyes stay wide open to the future achievements of the Tbilisi Mural Fest, but in the mean time we enjoy the fruits of the 2021 festival and all that came before it.

Stop, look up, and see what has been created in front of you
