The 9th edition of Yardworks Festival took over Glasgow’s iconic SWG3 complex once again, bringing together over 5,000 visitors for a full weekend of graffiti, street art, and community-driven creativity. Following its second consecutive sell-out year, the festival solidified its status as a cornerstone of the global urban art calendar.
The industrial site was transformed into a living, breathing canvas – from towering murals to container installations, every corner pulsed with energy. Celebrating Glasgow 850, the event honored the city’s deep-rooted ties to graffiti, hip-hop culture, and creative expression in public space.
This year’s lineup featured a stellar mix of global heavyweights and rising talent, including Bacon (Canada), Zurik (Colombia/Spain), Nuno Viegas (Portugal), Jeks (USA), Peachzz (UK), and Smug (Australia/Scotland) – alongside a powerful roster of Scottish and UK-based artists. Visitors witnessed live mural painting, took part in interactive workshops, and joined conversations that connected generations of artists and fans. The atmosphere was electric – buzzing with spray cans, beats, and creative exchange.
A major highlight of 2025 was the launch of a new collaboration with Street Art Cities, giving Yardworks an expanded digital presence and placing Glasgow firmly on the world map with a dedicated art trail of public works across the city. With expanded programming, a world-class lineup, and an unmatched sense of community, Yardworks 2025 once again proved why it’s one of the most exciting urban art festivals anywhere.
