Over the Easter weekend, a powerful chapter in urban art was written: the official opening of Graffland Zürich – and what an unforgettable celebration it was! Together with more than 110 artists from Switzerland and abroad, we transformed a former wastewater treatment plant into a vibrant playground for graffiti and creativity. From the moment guests arrived, it was clear – something special was happening here. Within hours, the raw concrete walls were covered in outstanding pieces, powerful styles, and stunning concepts. Every artwork stood out. Every wall told its own story.

Armed with Montana BLACK and GOLD spray cans, over 110 artists brought color, character, and energy to every inch of space. The results? A breathtaking variety of techniques, styles, and messages – pure visual impact. But Graffland was more than just spray paint. It was a space for exchange, connection, and community. The vibe among artists was marked by mutual respect, openness, and genuine inspiration. Creativity created unity. One of the biggest highlights was the diversity of our audience: from art lovers to families, from locals in the Glattpark neighborhood to curious kids and teens – everyone was welcome, and everyone showed up. The event proved how inclusive and connecting graffiti culture can be.

Visitors had plenty to explore: a practice wall invited spontaneous spraying, enthusiastically used by kids and adults alike. At the MovingPrintbox screen printing station, guests could customize and print their own T-shirts throughout the weekend. Food trucks and drink stands provided the perfect refuel, while several media outlets covered the event with great interest and overwhelmingly positive feedback. A true crowd-puller: the Bomber Battle, hosted by none other than German hip-hop pioneer TORCH. That, combined with sunshine and blue skies, made for a weekend we won’t forget anytime soon.
