In this video, he explains what prompted his move from New York to Los Angeles, noting that he was getting into trouble for expressing his artistic hubris as New York’s congestion means large blank spaces are usually reserved for advertisements. As street art is fleeting in the respect that buildings are torn down, murals painted over, etc. the artist notes this as being the main reason why he is committing his artwork to canvas — to assure that he is able to leave a piece of his work to history.
