THE HAUS is an upcoming street art project in a former bank building in one of the most well known streets in the centre of Berlin, the Kurfürstendamm shortly called Ku’damm. Each of the over 100 participating street artists will have their own room in this building and therefor the possibility to become creative and show visitors their paintings made with MONTANA-CANS products.
THE HAUS is an alternative way to have a unique visual experience on five floors in the centre of Berlin. This event will give the street artists freedom to develop their own various and non conform concepts. If an artists wants he can even destroy the space – the main thing is that the visitor is stunned. In a time when people communicate more by using photos than sharing experiences, this event builds a contrast. The street art should be regarded originally not only as a reproduction.
THE HAUS is a gallery that is only temporary. From the beginning it is clear that the art that is shown will not last forever. The moment is what counts. This makes the artist as well as the viewer think about the transience of art. It should be a place where there are no borders and frames. The opening event takes place in April 2017 at Nürnbergerstrasse 68/69, 10787 Berlin. See you in Berlin at THE HAUS!
