PangeaSeed’s Sea Walls: Artists for Oceans San Diego 2016

The PangeaSeed Foundation has a long list of collaboration partners that help them get their message across. And the message is simple. Save our seas and water resources. Their “Murals for Oceans” project has gone from strength to strength and the second edition was held in San Diego California.  A band of over 20 international and local artists came together to join forces to create ocean themed murals to beautify the local neighbourhoods and raise awareness for the for the importance of San Diego’s precious marine natural resources. Murals for Oceans is one of the first movements of its kind creating a new method of activism, or ARTivism. The murals are located around San Diego, in high profile locations such as North Park, Ocean Beach, Barrio Logan, and Mission Beach. Sea Walls: Murals for Oceans – San Diego is proudly presented by Cohort Collective, Surfrider Foundation, Kaaboo Del Mar, Montana Cans, and Osel Paint. With support from Alexandria Real Estate, DPR Construction, Dunedin North Park, All Access Rentals, Art Life, Artist and Craftsman Supply, Manda, Topheads, Ego Id Media, and 1xRUN.
