To quote the founder of the POW! WOW! organisation Jasper Wong, „there are 3 main missions of the POW! WOW! concept; One, it is to bring people together through creative pursuits. Two, To educate the youth and public about art and music through workshops, programming, and schools. Three, To beautify communities with art and color”. With this ethos and some support from the Montana-Cans distribution partner Hangaram, the event has managed to go global and do exactly what it has set out to do.

POW! WOW! KOREA 2017 in Seoul

The most recent edition took place in Korea. From September 23rd to the 30th, eight days of art making took place in seven different locations throughout Seoul (Sangdo-dong, Yeonnam-dong, Mullae-dong, Hongdae, Sookmyung Womens’ University, Hapjeong, Janghanpyeong).

With color being well and truly covered thanks to Montana GOLD and Montana BLACK cans, scale was also not a problem with the assistance of some mechanized high reaching helpers. The event was destined to impress from the get-go. Married with a strong line up of local and international talent such as local artists, Jay Flow, Royyal Dog, Xeva, Sixcoin, Yoon Hyup (from Korea) and five international artists, Andrew Hem, Cryptik, Jasper Wong, Tristan Eaton and Persue.
