Weeks of hard work and fresh paint in a one minute video! The first phase of the DUBAI STREET MUSEUM took place in the city of Dubai. Since past November several outstanding graffiti- and street artists participated in one of the greatest contemporary street art events in the Middle East. Many facades along the 2nd of December Street in Al Satwa were painted in context of the curated theme „The Past“ by artists such as 1010, ERNEST ZACHAREVIC, HUA TUNAN, JULIA VOLCHKOVA, SETH THE GLOBEPAINTER and MONTANA-CANS longtime friend CASE (MA’CLAIM).

The DUBAI STREET MUSEUM turned the city of Dubai into an impressive open-air gallery with finest large-scale artworks by so many different artist from all over the world, who met the high expectations of the curators Rome Levy and Sanaz Askari, as well as the expectations of art lovers and excited passing-by people in the streets of Al Satwa.

MONTANA-CANS continues to be one of the main sponsors of this unique event, providing the colors for all the participating artists. The DUBAI STREET MUSEUM will continue for the next five years and the team behind will continue to invite highly innovative artists to paint murals all over the United Arab Emirates. This video recap gives an inside into the artists work and shows the amount of this successful event in a special surrounding. If you are in Dubai, you shouldn’t miss to see the finished murals live at 2nd of December Street. We are looking forward for more to come!
